WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Under sunny skies and against strong competition, the Yale women's track and field team delivered strong performances at the Wake Forest Invitational Friday. The Bulldogs competed across throws, sprints, middle distance and distance events, finishing the day with several personal bests and a few new marks on the 2025 Division I Outdoor Rankings. The Bulldogs:
- Sophomore Juliette Kosmont ran 11.52 in the 100m with a +3.0 m/s wind, placing her at No. 56 on the 2025 Division I College Outdoor Rankings. Team captain and senior Dominique Romain followed with a personal best and Yale record of 11.75 in legal wind conditions (+1.4 m/s).
- In the 100m hurdles, sophomore Lucija Grd clocked 13.99 seconds to secure second place overall.
- In the 400m, junior Molly Harding ran a personal best of 55.12, while senior Bridget Vitu also set a new PR with a time of 56.64.
- Sophomore Gloria Guerrier claimed victory in the 400m hurdles with a Yale All-Time Top Three mark of 59.02 seconds. Her performance ranks No. 58 nationally and No. 31 in the DI East Region for the 2025 outdoor season.
- In the 800m, senior Iris Bergman took the lead with 300m to go in a windy first heat, finishing strong in 2:06.75. Sophomore Victoria Guerrier opened the third heat in 59.80 and closed in 2:05.92 — the fastest Yale time of the day in the 800m.
- Junior Claire Archer ran her first outdoor 5k of the season, placing second in her heat with a personal record of 16:28.16.
- In the field events, junior Makayla White posted a personal best in the long jump at 5.71m, followed closely by Romain, who jumped 5.69m.
- First year Anna Siciliano set a new personal record in the discus with a throw of 40.73m and also placed fifth in the shot put with 13.62m. Sophomore Emma Peretti competed in both events as well, recording marks of 37.50m (discus) and 12.73m (shot put).
- Yale wrapped up the day with a strong showing in the 4x100m relay, finishing third overall in 46.05 seconds.

- On Saturday, the rest of the Yale women's track and field team will be in action at home for the Mark Young Invitational. Field events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., with running events kicking off at 11:00 a.m.
