NEW YORK – The No. 4 Yale women's lacrosse team jumped out to a 6-0 lead Saturday afternoon at Columbia in the Ivy League opener, and the Bulldogs never looked back. They led by as many as 13 before finishing with a 17-6 win.
Yale (6-0, 1-0 Ivy League) outshot Columbia (3-3, 0-1 Ivy League) 17-2 in the opening quarter to seize control of the game early. The Bulldogs led by nine or more goals throughout the second half.
