ITHACA, N.Y. – There were multiple highlights for the Yale women's track and field team Sunday on the final day of competition at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships at Cornell's Barton Hall. The day was marked by fast performances, including new school records, a facility record and personal bests. Full results are available here.

The Bulldogs:

• The day was highlighted by a dominant 1-2 finish in the 800m, with sophomore Victoria Guerrier and junior Carmel Fitzgibbon securing 18 points for the Bulldogs in the event. Guerrier set a new facility record with her victory, running 2:04.57 on the flat track and leading the race from start to finish. Fitzgibbon followed with a time of 2:07.64, finishing more than a second ahead of third place.
• In the 60m dash finals, sophomore Juliette Kosmont claimed second place and set a new Yale record of 7.43 seconds. Senior captain Dominique Romain earned sixth place with a personal best of 7.56 seconds, improving on her previous PR of 7.70.
• Sophomore Gloria Guerrier won the first heat of the 500m finals, clocking in at 1:12.38 – just 0.01 seconds behind the second-place finisher. Her time earned her third place overall and added six points to the team's total.
• Sophomore Lucija Grd broke her own school record in the 60m hurdles by more than a tenth of a second, posting a time of 8.43 seconds to secure fourth place in the event.
• Senior Iris Bergman finished fourth in the 1k finals, running a time of 2:46.52. Despite competing on a flat track, she was just one second off her personal record.
• In the mile, junior Linde Fonville placed sixth, showcasing a strong finish with a 33.20 second last lap – the second-fastest in the field. Her time of 4:47.98 was just one second shy of her personal best, despite running on a flat track.
• The distance medley relay team of Fitzgibbon, senior Peyton Parker, Bergman and Fonville took third place with a time of 11:30.07, earning them the sixth spot on Yale's top 10 list for the DMR.
• In the final event of the day, Yale's 4x400m relay team of Gloria Guerrier, senior Bridget Vitu, Victoria Guerrier and junior Molly Harding earned third place and brought home 6 points for the team.
• Yale placed 5th overall with 54 points, improving from the eighth-place finish at the 2024 meet. Princeton won with 168 points.
