Yale welcomes six new members to the squad: Sienna Reynolds, Caitlin LaFerney, Ella Gandolfo, Ella Cross, Grace Westmoreland, and Natalie Dominguez.

Captain Mull
SJ Mull, a native of Slidell, La., has been elected to lead the Bulldogs this season. "She embodies everything it means to wear the 'Y' and be a Yale Softball player, and she has every day of her career here," said Coach Laura Ricciardone on Mull's appointment.

Quotes from Coach
  • "I'm incredibly excited to take the field with this team," said Head Coach Laura Ricciardone. "It has been a privilege to serve as their head coach, and I couldn't be prouder of their determination, camaraderie, and potential."
  • On growth: "The work they've put in—on the field, in the weight room, and during those extra hours—has been outstanding. We're faster, stronger, and more powerful than ever, and I can't wait to compete."
  • On the overall team: "We have a great balance of strong leadership, valuable experience, and dynamic young talent. While our lineup may feature some new names, we return a wealth of game experience and have nearly doubled the size of our pitching staff."
On the Horizon
After their time in Texas, the Bulldogs will head to Arizona for the Sun Devil Invitational, beginning Friday, Feb. 28. They will face UTEP, Arizona State, Seattle, and Grand Canyon over a two-day stretch.
