NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Team 152 will look to bounce back after a 17-16 road loss to Dartmouth this past weekend. The Bulldogs return home to close out non-conference play against Stonehill (2-4). Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.

• Inumidun Ayo-Durojaiye recorded his fourth double-digit tackle game of the season against Dartmouth—and his third straight with 13 or more. He currently ranks No. 2 in the FCS with 13.25 tackles per game.
• Nico Brown ranks second in the Ivy League with 105.7 receiving yards per game through three contests and is also second in receiving touchdowns with four.
• Josh Pitsenberger leads the Ivy League in rushing yards with 470 through four games.
• Ezekiel Larry is tied for third in the Ivy League in tackles for loss with four, averaging one per game.
• Abu Kamara is tied for the Ivy League lead in passes defended, with four breakups and two interceptions this season.
• Yale ranks second in the Ivy League in red-zone defense, allowing touchdowns on just 66.7% of opponent trips (five touchdowns on 12 opportunities).

The Series

• Saturday marks the first-ever meeting between Yale and Stonehill.
• It's the second straight season the Bulldogs have faced a first-time opponent, following their 23–22 win over Central Connecticut on Oct. 5, 2024.
• Stonehill began its transition from Division II to Division I in 2022, officially completing its reclassification in 2025.
• The Skyhawks have faced just one other Ivy League team in program history, falling to Penn 24–21 on Sept. 20, 2025.

Scouting Stonehill

• Stonehill enters the matchup 2–4 overall and 1–1 in NEC play. The Skyhawks' wins came against Maine (13–10, Sept. 13) and LIU (10–3, Sept. 27). They were picked to finish last in the NEC Preseason Poll.
• Quarterback Jack O'Connell leads the offense with 1,108 passing yards and nine touchdowns. His top target, Zachary Kim, leads the team with 258 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
• Defensively, Stonehill owns the top scoring defense in the NEC, allowing just 20.8 points per game. The team's leading tacklers are LB Charles Battaglia (38), DB Anthony Busa (35), and LB Christopher Williams (29). DB Sidoine Djimbou leads the team in takeaways with two interceptions.
• On special teams, punter Logan Chenette tops the NEC with a 42.4-yard average, including 11 punts downed inside the 20-yard line.

Bulldog Perspectives
"(Stonehill)'s a try hard defense," offensive coordinator Chris Ostrowsky said. "I think they'll do some trap coverage, some articulate stuff on the back end that gives some different looks. It's another solid opponent."

"I think (O'Connell) is a talented quarterback," linebacker Phoenix Grant said. "I think he hangs in the pocket well. He'll make the throws under pressure. His completion percentage speaks for itself. He's a accurate passer, and I think we have to do a good job in coverage as well as getting after him up front."
