BOSTON, Mass. – The Yale softball team fell to Boston University in a doubleheader, 7-1 and 7-0, at BU Softball Field. The Bulldogs fell to 6-16 overall, while the Terriers, who are currently receiving votes in the national poll, improved to 22-3.

Game 1: Boston 7, Yale 1
- The Bulldogs struck first in the fourth inning as Carolyn Skotz scored on a fielder's choice.
- Boston responded with a five-run fifth inning to take the lead.
- The Terriers added two more runs in the sixth to secure their victory.

Game 2: Boston 7, Yale 0
- The first two and a half innings of play were scoreless before Boston picked up two runs in the bottom of the third inning.
- The Terriers tacked on another run in the fourth inning, two more in the fifth, and added their final run in the sixth to extend their lead to seven.
