Three Road Games this Week for Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's basketball team hits the road for three games in six days this week, playing at Marist Tuesday (7:00 p.m., ESPN+, Live Stats, Tickets), at Bryant Friday (1:30 p.m., ESPN+, Live Stats, Tickets) and at Syracuse Sunday (12:00 p.m., ACCNX, Audio, Live Stats, Tickets).
 
Last Week
Yale (1-5, 0-0 Ivy League) dropped a pair of home games last week, falling to Merrimack 50-45 on Tuesday and Pacific 60-50 on Wednesday. Senior guard/forward Mackenzie Egger (Mount Pleasant, Mich.) led the team in scoring for the week, averaging 19.5 points per game.

Yale has utilized the same starting five for all six games so far this season:  
Egger Leads the Way
Senior guard/forward Mackenzie Egger (Mount Pleasant, Mich.), who has recorded two straight double-doubles, leads the Ivy League in rebounding (10.8 rebounds per game) and is tied for sixth in the league in scoring (14.3 points per game). She is also tied for fifth in the league in blocks per game (0.8) and tied for 10th in steals per game (1.5).

Homecoming for Odume
Sunday marks a return home for Yale first-year guard Ke'iara Odume (Syracuse, N.Y.). Odume played for Bishop Ludden Junior-Senior High School in Syracuse before finishing her high school career at Loomis Chaffee, where she was the NEPSAC Player of the Year last year.
 
Road Warriors
This week starts a stretch for Yale in which five of six games are on the road. From Nov. 25 through Dec. 28 the Bulldogs play only one home game (Dec. 4 vs. Fordham).
 
Scouting Marist
Marist (2-3, 0-0 MAAC) has dropped two games in a row since starting the season 2-1. The Bulldogs beat the Red Foxes 61-45 last season, limiting them to a .315 shooting percentage.
 
Scouting Bryant
Bryant (6-1, 0-0 America East) is 13-5 in home games since the start of the 2023-24 season. Bryant and Yale have not met since Dec. 4, 2013 – a 72-61 Yale win in which Yale hit 11 three-pointers. 
 
Scouting Syracuse
Syracuse (2-3, 0-0 ACC), which plays in the Emerald Coast Challenge Monday and Tuesday before hosting the Bulldogs Sunday, has lost three of its last four games. The Orange was picked for 11th out of 18 in the ACC Preseason Poll.
