The Bulldogs are hitting the road for an Ivy League series in Upstate New York against Cornell. Originally scheduled for a Saturday-Sunday tilt, due to weather, the series was pushed to a single game on Sunday and a doubleheader on Monday.

Scouting the Bulldogs
- Yale is 9-14 overall and 2-4 in the Ivy League.
- Lauren Perren is the Bulldogs' RBI leader with 17 on the year, an Ivy League-high.
- Willa Ferrer is second on the team and second in the Ivy in RBI with 15.
- Yale occupies the top two spots in the Ivy in walks as well. Carolyn Skotz has a league-high 19 walks, while Lauren Perren has 11. Skotz has also scored an Ivy-high 17 runs.
- Libby Peoples has broken out in her first year with Yale. She has 16 hits, including a team-high seven doubles and one home run, and eight RBI.
- Maddie Latta has been solid in the circle. Latta has a 3-2 record in 32.1 innings pitched, and has grabbed 25 strikeouts in her 10 appearances.

Last Year Against Cornell
- Yale took two of the three games in last year's season series with a 2-0 shutout and a thrilling 10-9 victory. The lone loss wrapped with a score of 6-5.

Scouting the Big Red
- Cornell is 8-9 overall and 2-1 in the Ivy League heading into this weekend's series.
- The squad is 2-3 in their last five games with both of their wins coming against Harvard in Ivy League play.
- Sydney Stapf has been a leader on offense for the Big Red. In 17 games, Stapf has 13 hits, including eight doubles, three home runs and a triple. She also has a team-leading 13 RBI.
- Gabrielle Maday has led the way in the circle. Maday has a 4-2 record, three complete games and 24 strikeouts through 32 innings pitched.

Ivy League Honors
- Earlier this week, Libby Peoples was lauded as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for her string of performances in a five-game set against Boston University and Columbia.
- Peoples slashed a line of .467/.569/.800. In her seven hits, she recorded two doubles and notched her first collegiate home run. Additionally, she picked up three RBI and scored three runs.
- Sam Goodcase and Carolyn Skotz were named to the honor roll for their performances.
Looking Ahead
The Bulldogs return home for a three-game set against Penn on April 8-9 at 5K Corral Field at DeWitt Family Stadium.
