NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs extended their win streak to six with a sweep of Harvard on Friday night before a raucous crowd at the Lee Amphitheater.
The scores of the match were 25-22, 25-23 and 25-17.
With the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 6-5 overall and 2-0 in league play. Harvard fell to 2-9 and 0-2.
Samantha Bray led the Bulldogs with 10 kills and hit .389 for the match, while Frances Arnautou had 35 assists and 14 digs.
Kathryn Attar had nine kills, while Ellis DeJardin and Izzy Simqu both had eight kills.
In the first set, Bray gave Yale a 23-20 lead with a kill. Tristin Kott (seven kills) finished off the opener with a kill and a block for Yale's last two points.
Attar came up with big swings late in the second set. She tied the set at 23-23, and notched set point for the Bulldogs.
Bray went back to back with kills to give Yale a 16-9 lead and force a Crimson timeout. Yale pushed its lead to 18-10 after a Renee Shultz ace. Bonnie Bostic closed out the match with a kill.
Yale will host Dartmouth tomorrow at 5 p.m. The match can be streamed on ESPN+.
