Verone Hendrix works in customer service at Payne Whitney Gym, supervising the building and serving as night manager. He began working at Yale on a part-time basis in 2006 and has been full-time since 2017.

Hendrix is a New Haven, Conn., native and a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical High School. He is also a graduate of Johnson & Wales.
