Samantha Greer joined the Yale Athletics Medicine staff in May 2024 as an assistant athletic trainer. She provides primary coverage for women’s basketball, coed and women's sailing and men’s and women’s golf.
Prior to Yale, Greer served as an intern athletic trainer at both Ohio State University and Bryant University, working with a multitude of teams including field hockey, women's tennis, women's soccer, cross country, and track & field.
Greer graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2021 with a B.A. in athletic training. She completed her Master’s in Sport Management at Southern New Hampshire University in April 2025.
In addition to her work experience, Greer has been a medical volunteer at both the Boston Marathon and the Pan-Mass Challenge.
Greer lives in the New Haven area. She was born and raised in Newton, Mass. and frequently visits family on Cape Cod.
