Michael Lionetti joined the Yale Event Management staff in the winter of 2021-22. Prior to Yale, Lionetti served as the General Manager for BEST Crowd Management for the New York market overseeing event security for the Barclays Center and Citi Field.Â
During his career, Lionetti has held various positions throughout the sports industry including stints as the Director of Operations for the Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL), and operations roles with the New York Red Bulls (MLS) and the Webster Bank Arena.Â
Lionetti is a New Haven native and earned his B.S. in biology from Coastal Carolina University in 2013 and earned his M.S. in sport management from the University of New Haven in 2018.Â
