James Troutman joined the Yale Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations in August of 2022.
Prior to joining the Bulldogs Troutman served as the Director of Ticket Operations at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., working with the Utica Comets (American Hockey League affiliate of the New Jersey Devils), Utica City Football Club and Utica College.
Before his stint at the Adirondack Bank Center, Troutman was Assistant Box Office Manager at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., from November of 2018 through June of 2021. He worked as the Manager of Ticket Operations & Customer Service for the Albany Empire, a former Arena Football League team, for one year prior to that.
Troutman worked at the collegiate level from August 2014 through November of 2017 with the University at Albany Athletic Department, rising from Graduate Assistant to Ticket Manager in that span. He assisted in the creation and implementation of the Great Dane Athletic Club and increased football season ticket accounts by 10 percent.
Troutman earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., in May of 2014.
