Hunter Sickels joined Yale Athletics in March 2024 as an assistant athletic director for development. His primary focus is assisting in capital projects within the For Humanity campaign, helping manage the annual fund and association giving, and providing support for select associations.

Sickels joined Yale from Air Force Academy where he served as a senior director of development. He first joined the Falcon Athletic Fund as an assistant director of development and was promoted to director of development for annual funds in July 2022. In his first year with the Falcon Athletic Fund, Hunter assisted the team in a record-breaking year, raising over $4.7 million from over 2,800 donors.Â
A graduate of Iowa State University, Sickels was a member of the Cyclones’ football program. He received a degree in political science and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation from Iowa State, Sickels went on to receive his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and a M.S.A from Ohio University.
