Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson joined the Yale Athletics staff in August 2024 as the Equipment Operations Assistant, Brand Management. 

Prior to Yale, Johnson served as the head football equipment manager at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas from 2021-24. While at UIW, the football team won two Southland Conference titles, earned the first-ever victories against FBS opponents (Texas State and Nevada), hosted and won the program's first FCS Playoff game, and played North Dakota State in the 2022 National Semifinal. Johnson also was an equipment intern with the AHL's San Antonio Rampage during the shortened 2019-20 season.

Johnson graduated from UIC in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in in business administration with a concentration in sports management.

He is a native of Watertown, New York.
