Biography
2023-24:
- Placed 21st in the 1650 freestyle at the Ivy League Championships
- Placed 21st in the 400 IM at the Ivy League Championships
- Placed third in the 1000 freestyle versus Cornell
- Placed seventh in the 1000 freestyle at the HYP meet
- Placed eighth in the 1650 freestyle at the SMU Invitational
2022-23:
- Won the 200 freestyle versus Southern Connecticut
- Won the 1000 freestyle versus Columbia
- Won the 400 IM in the HYP meet
2021-22:
- Won the 1000 freestyle versus UConn
- Placed fourth in the 500 and 1000 freestyle versus Brown
- Placed second in the 1000 freestyle and fifth in the 100 freestyle versus Cornell
- Placed sixth in the 1000 freestyle and eighth in the 500 freestyle in the HYP meet
- Placed fifth in the 500 and 1000 freestyle in the Penn-Dartmouth meet
Before Yale:
- NISCA All-American in the 500 freestyle at Albuquerque Academy
- Three-time state champion in the 500 free
- Named the Metro Swimmer of the Year by the Albuquerque Journal as a senior
- Top two finisher in state in 200 IM and 200 free throughout her high school career
- Earned Academic All-America recognition as a senior
- Helped lead Albuquerque Academy to five straight state championships
- Swam for Charger Aquatics since she was eight years old and helped club win every short and long course state championship since she was eight
- Made the Charger Aquatics junior national team since 2017, attended open water junior national 5K event once, open water national 5K event twice and open water national 10K event once
- Selected to the national open water select camp and UANA Pan-Am championship 5K and 10K event in 2019
- Holds Western Age Group records in the 11-12 400 IM; 13-14 400 FR; 13-14 800 FR; 13-14 1500 FR, holds over 20 individual and relay New Mexico club swimming state records.
Personal: volunteered at New Mexico’s largest no-kill animal shelter during sophomore and junior year of high school… Served on the Western Zone Board of Review during sophomore and junior year… Volunteered as an official at novice swim meets senior year.
