2014: Caught every inning of Yale’s 41 games… Second on the team with 32 hits… Tied for third with 13 RBI… Tied for second with four stolen bases… Batted .304 over the final 14 games of the season… Hit a grand slam at Brown… Also homered against Boston University… Finished with eight multi-hit games… Recipient of the team’s Barbara Chou Leadership Award.
2013: Enjoyed one of the most remarkable seasons in Yale history… Named the Ivy League Player of the Year, the first Yale player to win the award since Seema Hingorani in 1991… First team All-Ivy catcher… NFCA All-Northeast Region second team selection… Finished fourth in the nation in doubles per game (0.4), ninth in slugging percentage (.852) and 21st in batting average (.430)… Led the Ivy League in batting average, slugging percentage (.852), on base percentage (.497), runs scored (37), hits (64), doubles (19), home runs (14) and total bases (127)… 127 total bases were the second most in Ivy history, .852 slugging percentage was the third highest and the 14 home runs tied for the fifth most in a season… Set Yale single-season school records in hits (64), doubles (19) and home runs (14)… Her .430 average tied her with Jennifer Fong (1993) for the highest in school history… Started all but one game behind the plate… Had a 20-game hitting streak during the season, the fourth longest in Ivy League history... Batted .448 in 20 Ivy League games… More than half of her hits in league play went for extra bases.
2012: Started 35 games behind the plate… Fourth on the team in batting (.255), tied for fourth in doubles (5) and fifth in RBI (12)… Had at least one hit in each of her first five games… First career hit was an RBI double against South Dakota… Belted her first career home run in the first game against Army… Finished with seven multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit performances.
Off the Field:
- Interned at McChrystal Group, a Washington D.C consulting firm, doing research related to organizational leadership
- Started a Special Olympics Unified Sports group at Yale that interacts with local athletes and partners
- Writes for the Yale Daily News as a sports columnist
Before Yale: Batted .553 with a .588 on base percentage and 1.021 slugging percentage as a senior at Phillips Academy Andover… 2009 Boston Globe NEPSAC Player of the Year… Four-time Eagle Tribune All Star… Named to the Big East All-Tournament Team twice… Helped Phillips to the 2011 Big East Invitational Tournament title… Tournament runner-up in 2008 and 2010… Played club softball for Wagner’s Gold, who tied for 25th at the 2010 Gold Nationals.
