Biography

Career: Played in 95 games.
 
2020: Started all 15 games in centerfield… Tied for the team lead with eight runs scored and third on team with 12 hits… Handled 24 chances in the outfield without an error… Had two hits and an RBI in win over California Baptist… Went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in victory over Fairfield… Recipient of the first Carol Roberts Legacy Award, given to the softball team member who is a selfless teammate, goes above and beyond what is asked of her on the field, in the weight room, and as a friend, all while holding her teammates to the highest standards.

2019: Honorable mention All-Ivy selection… Tied for 10th in the Ivy League with 44 hits… Second on the team in home runs (3) and runs scored (24) and third in batting average (.336) and stolen bases (7)… Appeared in all 43 games and started 41… Started all 21 Ivy games and batted .368… Had an eight-game hitting streak, which tied for the longest on the team during the season… Had 11 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit performances.

2018: Appeared in 11 games before suffering a season-ending injury... Still finished third on team with five stolen bases.

2017: Appeared in 26 games and made 10 starts… Scored 10 runs… First career hit was a single vs. Florida A&M… Went 3-for-4, scored three runs and knocked in one in the victory over Quinnipiac… Had two hits vs. Sacred Heart.

Before Yale: Batted .407 with a .521 on base percentage as a senior at Valparaiso High School… Selected as an Indiana Crossroads Top 100 Player… All-Area selection as a senior… Varsity batting champion as a freshman… Team captain as a sophomore… Played for the New Lenox Lightning, the 2015 Chicago Metros champions… Placed ninth out of 185 teams at the 2015 ASA A nationals… 2014/15 Colorado Sparkler All-Star game participant.

Personal: Student Athletic Advisory Council Vice President… Daughter of Ted and Mary Beth Vinyard.
