Biography

Notes: Started all 170 games during her career.

2017: Earned second team All-Ivy recognition at second base… Only player on team to start all 45 games… Led team with seven doubles, was second with 22 RBI and tied for third with 33 hits… Batted .291 and had a team-best four doubles in Ivy play… Provided one of the most memorable moments of the season when she belted a grand slam, her first career home run, to spark win over Dartmouth… Grand slam helped her earn Ivy League Player of Week honors… Recipient of the team’s most valuable player award.

2016: One of only three players to start all 50 games… Third on the team in hits (35) and doubles (8)… Tied for the team lead with 11 multi-hit games… Finished the season with a five-game hitting streak… Had six hits in the four-game series with Brown.

2015: One of only three players to start all 34 games…  Led the team with 15 walks… Batted .297 with runners in scoring position… Knocked in seven runs in 19 Ivy League games... Had three RBI in the doubleheader at Cornell.

2014: One of only three players to start all 41 games… Began the year at second base but switched to shortstop midway through the season… Committed just three errors in 203 chances… Finished fourth on the team in runs (12), fifth in hits (24) and second in sacrifice bunts (5)… Went 4-for-7 with two runs scored in the doubleheader with Hartford… Batted .400 (4-of-10) with three runs scored in the season-ending four-game series with Brown.

Off the Field:

  • Volunteered at the Compton''s Sheriff''s Station helping at risk kids through various programs
  • Works in the Yale University Athletics Department as a Varsity Sports Statistician for the Volleyball and Basketball games as well as a Ticket Office Assistant

Before Yale: Two-time Best Defensive Player selection at Burbank High School… Earned second team all-league recognition in 2011 and 2012… Two-time team captain… Batted .354, scored 22 runs and stole 19 bases as a senior… Helped Burbank to a 25-3 overall record and a league championship as a senior… Four-time scholar athlete selection… Played for the So Cal Sliderz 18-and-under gold team.

Personal: Brother Tyler Do played baseball at NYU Poly… Volunteered for the Compton Sheriff’s Station.
