2017: Second on the team with six doubles… Appeared in 43 games and batted .272… Had eight multi-hit games… Team captain… Recipient of the team’s Barbara Chou Leadership Award.
2016: Starting catcher after seeing most of her action in outfield in first two years… Started 42 games… Tied for third on team in batting average (.248), second in doubles (9) and third in RBI (12)… Had 10 multi-hit games… Seven-game hitting streak was the longest of the season by any player on the team… Knocked in three runs in first game against Princeton.
2015: Second team All-Ivy selection in the outfield… Led the team in batting (.315), hits (29), triples (2) and RBI (18)… Tied for the team lead in doubles (6) and home runs (2)… Knocked in 10 runs in Ivy games, which topped the team, and had a .509 slugging percentage… Hit .368 in seven games on spring break trip to Florida… Went 5-for-7 with five RBI in doubleheader at Cornell… Recipient of the team’s Most Improved Player Award.
2014: Started 33 games… Hit .500 (4-for-8) at the Norfolk State Tournament… Was 4-for-12 (.333) in the four-game series at Dartmouth.
Off the Field:
- Volunteer with YHHAP and New Haven Reads to fight hunger and homeless in the area, and help local children improve their reading skills, respectively
- Worked at a local gym while at home training athletes of 12 to 62 to help them reach their performance and fitness goals
Before Yale: Three-time all-conference selection at Bothell High School… Twice selected as the team’s most inspirational player… Co captain as a senior… Helped lead Bothell to the best record in school history and the program’s first state tournament appearance in her junior year… Played club softball for the Northwest Lady Sharks Gold… Served as a co-captain.
Personal: An FBLA (Future Business Leader of America) officer in her junior year… Model UN club and Spanish club member.
