NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 8 Yale women's lacrosse team plays at No. 16 Penn Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (ESPN+, International Stream, Live Stats). The Bulldogs are in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Ivy League, a half-game behind the third-place Quakers. The top four teams in the standings make the Ivy League Tournament, which takes place May 2-4 at the site of the highest seed.
 
Last Game

• Yale beat Dartmouth 12-6 Sunday at Reese Stadium. 
• After Dartmouth got within 6-5 at 5:05 of the third, the Bulldogs held the Big Green scoreless for the next 19:16 while running up a 12-5 lead.

• Yale is 3-2 against nationally ranked opponents this year, with wins over then-No. 4 Michigan (12-6 Feb. 15), then-No. 25 UConn (17-8 Mar. 12) and then-No. 6 Syracuse (13-10 Apr. 2).
• Senior midfielder Taylor Lane (Norwalk, Conn.) was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. She totaled 11 points (6-5-11) and eight draw controls.
• 10 Bulldogs have started all 12 games this season.

• Yale's last road win against Penn was Mar. 22, 2003 (10-8). That was part of a 10 game winning streak in the series for Yale from 1995 through 2004.

 
The Quakers

• Penn (6-4, 2-1 Ivy League) is 4-0 against unranked opponents and 2-4 against ranked opponents this year. The Quakers have beaten then-No. 6 Maryland (13-12 Mar. 31) and then-No. 16 Loyola Maryland (12-10 Mar. 12).
• Midfielder Anna Brandt, a two-time All-American, leads the Ivy League in ground balls per game (2.5) and is fifth in the league in goals (33).
