PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Yale baseball team completed a weekend sweep of Brown on Sunday with a 7-4 victory over the Bears.
Daniel Cohen delivered a strong start on the mound and
Tommy Martin drove in four runs to lead the Bulldogs to their fifth straight Ivy League win.
With the victory, Yale improved to 18-8 overall with a 6-3 mark in the Ivy League. After three weekends of conference play, the Bulldogs are in second place in the standings, just one game behind Penn and Columbia. Brown dropped to 5-19 overall with a 1-8 conference mark.
Top Performers
- Cohen tossed 6.0 innings, while allowing just three hits and two earned runs. He retired the final 12 hitters he faced to earn his third victory of the season.
- Martin went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles. He drove in four runs, including a bases-clearing two-bagger in the seventh to break the game open.

Game Notes
- Yale has won five straight and 10 of the last 11 matchups against Brown. They have not lost in Providence since 2019.
- Ben Winslow picked up his first career save. The sophomore tossed 2.2 innings while only allowing one hit. He struck out three and did not walk a batter.
- Kaiden Dossa recorded two hits. He has reached base safely in 21 consecutive games.
- Martin hit his eighth and ninth doubles of the season. He leads the team in that category. Martin has eclipsed the .300 average mark and tops the squad with a fantastic OPS of 1.009.
- As of Sunday, the Bulldogs have six qualified hitters over the .300 batting average mark.
