AMHERST, Mass. – Several Yale throwers and jumpers competed on Sunday during the second day of the Ken O'Brien Pre-Conference Meet, hosted by UMass. With the Ivy League Championships just two weeks away, the meet offered a valuable final tune-up, and the Bulldogs made the most of the opportunity. Full results are available

The Bulldogs:
- In the triple jump, sophomore Alexandra Bonn placed fourth overall with a mark of 11.34m.
- In the discus, senior Kalei Memmer finished sixth with a throw of 39.05m, while first-year Hannah Graham set a personal best of 37.36m. Both Memmer and Graham competed in the hammer throw as well.
- Junior Charlie Williams also competed in the hammer throw, earning fourth place with a personal-best mark of 47.49m. Williams was closely followed by fellow junior Ivy Pete, who recorded a throw of 47.24m.

- This past weekend marked the final chance for the Bulldogs to compete before the start of championship season. Next up for the Yale women's track and field team is the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships (Heps), which Yale will host on May 10–11.
- Following Heps, qualifying athletes will move on to the NCAA East First Round Regional Championships, held in Jacksonville, Fla., on May 29 and 31. To advance, athletes must rank among the top 48 in their event in the eastern region of the country.
