NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 13 Yale women's lacrosse team hosts No. 6 Syracuse Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (NESN, ESPN+, International Stream, Live Stats). The game is a rematch of last year's NCAA Quarterfinal matchup. 
 
Last Game

• Yale lost to No. 9 Princeton Saturday, 14-11.
• Prior to Saturday's loss, Yale had won 16 straight home games – the longest such streak in the nation at that point. 

 
The Bulldogs

• Yale leads the nation in fewest turnovers per game (10.00).
• Yale ranks third nationally in scoring defense (7.60). No. 2 North Carolina (5.82) and No. 1 Boston College (6.54) are the only teams ahead of the Bulldogs.
• As of Mar. 31 Yale is 17th in the NCAA's RPI rankings. Last season, every team that was ranked 22 or better in the RPI made the NCAA Tournament, either as an automatic qualifier or at large.
• Five Yale players earned midseason All-America recognition from Inside Lacrosse last Thursday:
  • Senior midfielder Fallon Vaughn (Concord, Mass.) (first team)
  • Senior attacker Jenna Collignon (Hinsdale, Ill.) (third team)
  • Junior defender Emmy Pascal (Lorton, Va.) (third team)
  • Senior midfielder Sky Carrasquillo (Alpharetta, Ga.) (honorable mention)
  • Junior defender Bella Saviano (Severna Park, Md.) (honorable mention)
• Carrasquillo was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List last Thursday.
• Collignon is second in the Ivy League in goals per game (3.60).Carrasquillo is seventh (2.50).
• The Bulldogs' longest active individual streaks are:
  • Consecutive games with at least one goal, consecutive games with at least one point: Collignon, 28
  • Consecutive games with at least one assist: Senior midfielder Taylor Lane (Norwalk, Conn.), 3
  • Consecutive games played, consecutive starts: Lane and Vaughn, 64
• Senior attacker Taylor Everson (Montclair, N.J.) is four points away from 100 career points.

• Yale is 2-2 against Syracuse, having beaten the Orange in 1998 (9-8 at Syracuse) and 2003 (12-7 at Yale in the NCAA Tournament). Syracuse's wins came in 1999 (9-8 at Yale) and 2024 (19-9 at Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament).
