No. 10 Princeton Edges No. 9 Yale, 13-11

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – A top 10 Ivy League matchup came down to the wire Saturday at Reese Stadium, as No. 9 Princeton used a late three-goal run to take down No. 10 Yale 13-11.

Both teams had a senior attacker score five goals: Jenna Collignon for Yale, McKenzie Blake for Princeton. It was a pair of goals by Collignon that tied the game 10-10 in the fourth quarter – the sixth tie of the game. But Blake had one of the three goals in the ensuing 3-0 Princeton run that proved decisive.

Yale (7-3, 1-2 Ivy League) led early, 4-2, and briefly took a 6-5 lead in the third. But Princeton (8-1, 2-0 Ivy League) had three different runs of three or more goals, and the last one proved to be the difference maker.
