Bulldogs Fall to Marist on the Road

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale baseball team fell to Marist University 10-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Heritage Financial Park in a non-conference matchup. The Red Foxes scored five runs in the third and never looked back for the team's third straight win.

With the win, Marist improved to 10-12 overall. Yale dropped to 13-6 this season.

  • Ben Winslow started on the mound for Yale, allowing two earned runs in 2.1 innings pitched. Ethan Lewis, DJ Peterson, Teo Spadaccini, Levi Strahm, and Mark Capell relieved Winslow out of the bullpen. 
Up Next
The Bulldogs will play Harvard on Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. on the road. The team will then return home to finish the series with the Crimson on a Saturday doubleheader.
