CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Yale baseball team dropped the final contest of a three-game set against The Citadel on Sunday afternoon by a score of 6-2. Yale received a strong start from first year
Jack Ohman, but the hosts added all six runs in the sixth inning or later to secure the sweep.
The Citadel improved to 7-4 with the victory. Yale dropped to 3-3 overall.
Key Performers
- Ohman was fantastic in his first career start on the mound. Ohman threw 5.0 innings, striking out five while only allowing one hit and no runs.
- Jake Williams was a standout on the offensive end for Yale. The senior went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double.

- Owen Turner recorded his first collegiate hit on a single to left in the second. He finished the game with a pair of singles.
- Senior Jeff Pierantoni added a pair of hits.
- Despite the losses in the series, Yale's starting pitching was excellent. The trio of Colton Shaw, Daniel Cohen, and Ohman combined for 15.1 innings pitched while only allowing a total of three runs.
