CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Yale baseball team scored seven runs in the top of the tenth inning to seal a 10-3 victory and a weekend sweep over Queens University. The Bulldogs tied the game in the ninth inning on an RBI single from
Kaiden Dossa and then followed up with a tenth-inning rally to improve to 3-0 this season.

- Tommy Martin hit his first home run this season in the fourth inning.
- Chace Chaplin drove in three runs to lead the Bulldogs.
- The Yale pitching staff was once again fantastic. Ben Winslow started the game for the Bulldogs, throwing 2.2 innings of shutout ball.

- Top 9th – After Martin was hit by a pitch and advanced to second on a wild pitch, Dossa came up big in the clutch with an RBI single to left to tie the game. 3-3
- Top 10th – Yale plated seven runs in the extra frame. With the bases loaded, Chaplin doubled into the gap to clear the bases, setting up the win for the Bulldogs. 10-3 YALE

- Yale has won its first three games of the season for the first time since 2010.
- Mick Kelley picked up the win on the mound, pitching a scoreless ninth inning. DJ Peterson closed out the game for Yale.
- First year Jack Dauer had a phenomenal opening series with five RBI.
