NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 5 Yale women's lacrosse team had no letdown after this past Saturday's thrilling 12-6 win against No. 4 Michigan. On a sunny but frigid afternoon, the Bulldogs made the short trip up I-91 to play at Quinnipiac Tuesday. They raced out to an 11-1 lead in the game's first 24:18 en route to earning a 16-6 win.
Yale (2-0, 0-0 Ivy League) had nine different goal scorers, and 31 different Bulldogs got into the game. Quinnipiac (2-1, 0-0 MAAC) was led by three goals from attacker Cate Bendowski.
