NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team made a splash to start the 2025 portion of their schedule and during the program's 50
th anniversary celebration weekend. The Bulldogs picked up a 194.00-106.00 victory over Penn, and a 222.00-78.00 win over Dartmouth.
Yale improved its overall record to 6-0 and Ivy mark to 4-0. It also marks 104 wins for Robert J.H. Kiphuth Coach
Jim Henry in the past 11 seasons.
Key Results
- In Friday's diving events, Paige Lai won the 1M dive (297.05) and placed second in the 3M dive (274.15).
- Yale's 200 yard medley relay quartet of Devyn Sargent, Jessey Li, Alex Massey, and Caroline McCurdy kicked off Saturday's swimming events with a win, finishing at 1:42.57.
- Mabel Koff had a stellar day, picking up wins in the 200 yard freestyle (1:52.35), 200 yard backstroke (1:59.04), and 200 yard IM (2:04.47).
- Jessey Li won the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.87.
- Massey picked up wins in the 200 yard butterfly (2:01.72) and 100 yard butterfly (55.75).
- Yale's 400 yard freestyle relay quartet of McCurdy, Sargent, Lily Neumann, and Massey closed out competition in style with a win, finishing at 3:29.01.
