NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs rallied to defeat in-state rival Fairfield in five sets on Saturday evening and extend their regular season home win streak to 24.  The scores of the match were 21-25, 24-26, 25-19, 25-11 and 15-9.  

Match summary:  

• Yale won the final three sets of the match and have won three straight to improve to 3-2 on the season.
• With the third set tied at 14-14, Yale scored 11 of the final 16 points to jump start a rally. 
• Laurece Abraham served up two aces in a 5-0 run to open the fourth and Yale never trailed.  
• The Bulldogs hit .452 in the fourth set. 
• In the fifth set, the Bulldogs scored the first five points with kills from Payton Bryan and Gigi Barr.
• Betsy Goodenow continued her hot start to the season and led the Bulldogs with 18 kills and added 14 digs. 
• Carly Diehl narrowly missed a triple-double with 56 assists, 13 digs and eight kills. 
• Cara Shultz had two service aces and moved into sixth place all-time in program history with 117.
