Yale Seeks Another HYP Title

Bulldogs face Tigers and Crimson in New Jersey

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team looks to complete another undefeated dual meet season when it travels to New Jersey for the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet at DeNunzio Pool. The event starts Friday at 2 p.m. and wraps up on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. All events can be viewed on ESPN+.

The Bulldogs are looking to finish undefeated for the third straight dual meet season. Yale's last loss came to Princeton on Feb. 1, 2020.

The Bulldogs have swept the HYP meet in six of the last seven seasons, and Yale is 83-2 in its last 85 dual meets.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 200-100 win over George Washington last Saturday. Ava Franks (200 IM, 200 breaststroke), Alex Massey (100 and 200 butterfly), Jessey Li (50 and 100 freestyle) and Lilly Derivaux (200 and 500 freestyle) were double winners for Yale.

No. 24 Princeton is 9-1 overall and 5-0 in Ivy League competition. Most recently, the Tigers defeated Penn State, 208-91, and fell just short to Virginia Tech, 162-138, in Christiansburg, Virginia, on Jan. 20.

Harvard has a 4-1 record both overall and in Ivy League meets. In its most recent meet, the Crimson took down Penn on Jan. 20 in Philadelphia 191-109.

All three schools will meet again at the Ivy League Championship on Feb. 21-24.
