STORRS, Conn. – Three throwers from the Yale women's track and field team competed on the second day of the UConn Husky Challenge Friday. Full results can be found

The Bulldogs:
- In the weight throw, junior Ivy Pete was the highest finisher for Yale, earning sixth place. Pete set a personal record of 15.24m, or 50 feet. This was her first time throwing over 15 meters.
- Pete was also joined by senior Makayla Harris and sophomore Emma Peretti, who set a personal record of 14.60m – or nearly 48 feet – to earn seventh overall.
- Peretti also earned fourth in the shot put with her mark of 12.40m, while Harris took sixth with her throw of 11.74m.
