Bulldogs Come Up Short Against Mercyhurst

ERIE, Pa. – The Yale women's ice hockey team fell to Mercyhurst 2-0 on Saturday afternoon on the road. Despite doubling the Lakers' shot output, the Bulldogs just could not capitalize and dropped its first game to Mercyhurst in the last four matchups between the two teams.

Mercyhurst improves to 9-12-1 and ended the weekend series with a 1-1 record against the Bulldogs. Yale drops to 10-9 this season.

"Our shot volume was good again and we are getting our looks at the net," said Mark Bolding, Susan Cavanagh Head Coach of Women's Hockey. "We had a strong third period but could not solve their goalie. We'll find our way offensively if we stick with it and work together."
