Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Yale women's ice hockey team picked up a 3-1 win over Brown on Saturday afternoon at Meehan Auditorium in Providence. Three different Bulldogs found the back of net, and the Elis picked up their second victory in their last three games.
Yale improves to 7-6-0 this season, while the Bears fall to 5-8-1.

- P1, 12:06 | GOAL! Elle Hartje skated into the slot and fired a wrister on goal. After her initial attempt was saved, the puck bounced back to the Bulldogs senior who put in the rebound shot for the Elis first goal of the game.
- P1, 13:43 | Brown answered back with a goal by Anna Shelden.
- P1, 19:31 | GOAL! With under one minute in the opening stanza, Jordan Ray skated into the attacking area and made a beautiful move to avoid a Brown defender. Ray fired a top-shelf wrister which found the back of the net.
- P2, 2:43 | GOAL! Hartje gets involved again by taking the puck near the faceoff circle on the right side. Hartje dished it across ice to Stephanie Stainton who smashed home the one-time extending the Bulldogs' lead to 3-1.
- FINAL | The Bears buckled down in the third period, but goaltender Pia Dukaric stopped every shot to pick up the victory.
Game Notes
- The Bulldogs now hold a four-game win streak over the Bears and have won 15 of the past 16 contests between the two teams.
- Hartje picked up her fifth goals of the season and fifth career goal against the Bears. It was also her fifth multi-point game of the season.
- Stainton leads all Bulldogs players with seven goals and has four scores in the last five games.
- Dukaric stopped nine shots for the Bulldogs, while Brown goaltender Kaley Doyle stopped 24 shots.
