NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale men's squash team took down No. 7 Virginia on Saturday afternoon at Brady Squash Center. The Bulldogs only dropped four games throughout the nine-match contest, winning 8-1 over the Cavaliers.
Tad Carney played in a marathon match that last nearly an hour and a half, downing his opponent 3-1 in the No. 4 position.
"We went into today's match with a clear mindset focused on taking care of business," said
Lynn Leong, Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash. "Our approach was to play clinical squash, fully aware that nothing would come easy. This attitude steered us through, leading to our decisive 8-1 victory against UVA."
