NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team continued its home success in the final match of the season at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. The Bulldogs won five singles matches en route to a 5-2 Senior Day victory over Dartmouth.
Yale finished with an impressive 7-3 home record. The Bulldogs close out the season at Harvard on Sunday.
Theo Dean, Michael Sun and
Aidan Reilly were straight sets winners in singles.
Luke Neal rallied from a set down to win at No. 6 singles, taking the deciding third set 6-3.
Walker Oberg split the first two sets and was ahead 2-1 in the third set when his opponent retired at No. 5.
In doubles, the Bulldogs got a 6-3 victory from Dean and Reilly at No. 2. The Big Green, though, won the other two matches to earn the doubles point.
Cody Lin, Yale's only senior, was honored at a reception following the match.
