BOSTON, Mass. — The No. 5 Yale Women's Squash Team will compete in the Howe Cup Tournament at the CSA National Championships this weekend at Harvard.
The Bulldogs' first match is against No. 4 Columbia on Friday at 12:30 pm. Since 2012, the Elis are 10-2 against the Lions, but in their last matchup in January of this year, Columbia prevailed by a score of 6-3. The other matchups include No.1 Harvard vs. No. 8 Penn, No. 3 Princeton vs. No. 6 Drexel, and No. 2 Trinity vs. No. 7 Virginia.
Yale, 6-4 overall and 4-3 in Ivy play, is coming off a strong season led by a mix of veteran and first-year talent. Graduate student and captain

Ainsley Weber, and junior
Brianna Jefferson have shown strong leadership as seasoned veterans, whereas first-years
Christy Lau,
Lindsay Westerfield, and
Nina Mital have shown tremendous drive and promise.
In the last CSA tournament in 2020, the Elis were third, defeating Stanford and Trinity to get there. Yale last won the CSAs (Howe Cup) in 2011.
