NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team dropped a heartbreaker to Columbia on Saturday at Kiphuth Exhibition Pool, falling 151-149.
The Bulldogs captured both relays.
Joseph Page, Alex Deng, Marcus Hodgson and
Lucius Brown won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:29.19. The 400 freestyle relay team of Brown, Hodgson,
Ben Meulemans and
Connor Lee won with a time of 3:00.66.
Noah Millard won a pair of events for the Bulldogs, finishing first in the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke.
Yale had the top three finishers in the 50 freestyle. Hodgson won and was followed by Brown and Page.
Page captured the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle, while Lee won the 100 butterfly.
Next up for the Bulldogs is the Ohio State Invitational, which starts on Thursday and runs through Saturday.
