NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- After a 5-0 road trip to open the Ivy League season, the Bulldogs return to the John J. Lee Amphitheater to host Penn and Princeton this weekend.  Yale (13-1) has won 11 in a row after defeating Harvard and Dartmouth last weekend.Â
Mila Yarich and
Lauren Kellen both had standout weekends and were named to the Ivy League Honor Roll last Monday.  Yarich had 30 kills and 28 digs over the two victories, and Kellen had nine kills in the victory at Harvard. Â
After five Ivy matches,
Audrey Leak ranks third in the Ivy League in kills per set (3.56) and Yarich ranks sixth (3.25).Â
Carly Diehl ranks second in assists (11.56).
In addition, Yale's defense has stepped up in conference play. The Bulldogs rank first in the conference in kills by opponents, assists by opponents, and place second in aces by opponents and hitting percentage by opponents.Â
Maile Somera ranks third in the Ivy League in digs per set (4.00). Â
Yale continues to also impress on the national scene. Â

- Cara Shultz - 3rd in aces per set (.77)
- 6th (tied) in aces per set (2.00)
- 8th (tied) in team winning percentage (.929)
- 20th in kills per set (13.92)
Scouting Princeton
The Tigers (13-2) are also entering the weekend at 5-0 in conference play and have on 10 matches in a row. First-year Lucia Scalamandre has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the last three weeks. In Ivy League matches, Princeton leads the conference in hitting percentage, kills per set and assists per set.
Scouting Penn
The Quakers (2-13, 1-4 Ivy League) won a five-set match at Cornell last Saturday for their first victory of the conference season. Autumn Leak, the sister of Yale's
Audrey Leak, leads Penn with a 2.97 kill per set average. Abigail Reid leads the team with 251 digs on the season.
