NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team continued its Ivy League domination on the biggest stage so far. The Bulldogs captured the HYP title, defeating Princeton 182-118 and Harvard 211-89.

Yale has now won the HYP crown in five of the last six seasons. Over the span, the Bulldogs have posted a 64-2 dual meet record.

Yale is now 9-0 in dual meets this season, including 7-0 against Ivy League competition. The winning margin against Princeton was the closest of any of the seven league races.

"We are very pleased with the finish to our senior weekend," said assistant coach
Molly Chamberlain. "Ending our dual-meet season undefeated has been a goal of ours from the start. Our groups' intensity and camaraderie were the keys to these wins. I'm grateful to our senior class who led the way. We are looking forward to championship season."

Yale was in front entering the day after a
strong performance on Friday. Iszac Henig got the Bulldogs going by winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.37.
Alex Massey captured the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.32. Yale had the top two finishers in the 200 breaststroke.
Ava Franks won with a time of 2:12.56, and
MaryKate Buckley was second in 2:16.23.

The Bulldogs closed out the meet by dominating the 400 freestyle relay. Henig,
Ophelia Pilkinton, Lindsey Wagner and
Marlise Moesch won with a time of 3:17.61. In second place, was the Yale team of
Marissa Healy, Vivian Weng, Junseo Kim and
Raime Jones.

Several other Bulldogs turned in strong performances. Massey finished third in the 100 butterfly,
Ashley Loomis was second in the 500 freestyle (4:52.23),
Quinn Murphy placed third in 200 backstroke and Pilkinton was third in the 100 freestyle.

Prior to the start of the session, Yale's four seniors – Loomis, Moesch,
Alessandra Baldari and
Marisa Conner – were honored. It was the final home meet of their careers.

Next up is the Ivy League Championship on Feb. 16-19 at Harvard.
