FAN ATTENDANCE POLICIES FOR YALE COMMUNITY THROUGH FEB. 21
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team faces its biggest tests of the season this weekend when Harvard and Princeton visit Kiphuth Exhibition Pool. The action begins on Friday at 3 p.m. with the 3-meter diving. Friday's swimming events are set to start at 6:05 p.m. The meet concludes on Saturday with the 1-meter diving at 9:30 a.m. followed by the swimming events at 12:05 p.m. The entire meet will be streamed on ESPN+
in the United States and Stretch Internet
internationally.
All three teams enter the meet undefeated. The Bulldogs are 7-0 and coming off a 211.5-88.5 victory over Cornell on Jan. 15.
Junseo Kim won three events – 200 butterfly, 200 backstroke and 100 butterfly – to help lead Yale. In addition,
Ophelia Pilkinton captured both 100 and 200 freestyles.
The Bulldogs last hosted the HYP meet in 2017 and knocked off both the Tigers and Crimson before winning the Ivy League championship two weeks later.
Yale has enjoyed remarkable dual meet success in recent years. Since 2015-16, the Bulldogs have posted a 62-2 record.
Prior to Saturday's session Yale will honor its seniors competing for the final time at Kiphuth Pool -
Alessandra Baldari,
Ashley Loomis, Marlise Moesch and
Marisa Conner.
Harvard (6-0) competed last weekend, defeating Penn 187-113.
Princeton (7-0) defeated Columbia and Navy handily last Friday in its last meet.
Next up for all three teams is the Ivy League Championship on Feb 16-19 at Harvard.
