Winning Streak at Four After Victory over Cornell

Millard wins three events to spark Bulldogs

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – With its biggest meets of the season fast approaching, the Yale men's swimming and diving team is peaking at just the right time. The Bulldogs rolled to a 202-98 victory over Cornell at Kiphuth Pool.

First year Noah Millard captured three events – the 200, 500 and 1,000 freestyles to help lead the way. Conner Kang (200 butterfly, 200 IM) and Philippe Marcoux (50, 100 freestyle) were both double event winners.

In addition, Liam Bogart won the 100 backstroke, Alex Deng won the 100 breaststroke, Justin Whang won the 200 backstroke and Calvin Yang won the 200 breaststroke.

It was also a big day for the relay teams. Yale won both the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

The diving events took place on Friday night.

Next up for the Bulldogs is a meet with Harvard and Princeton on Jan. 29-30 at Kiphuth Pool.
