Bulldogs Set to Face Cornell

Yale seeking another Ivy win

Calvin Yang

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team posted impressive victories over Dartmouth and Penn last Saturday in Philadelphia. The Bulldogs will look to build on that momentum when Cornell visits Kiphuth Pool this weekend. The diving portion of the meet is set for Friday at 3 p.m., while the swimming events are Saturday starting at 11 a.m.

Yale got several strong performances last weekend in the win over the Big Green and Quakers. Noah Millard (200, 500 freestyles), Joseph Page (100 backstroke, 100 freestyle) and Conner Kang (200 butterfly, 200 individual medley) were each multi-event winners.

Cornell hasn't competed since finishing second at the three-day Zippy Invitational at the University of Akron in early December. The Big Red has faced four Ivy League opponents – falling to Harvard, Dartmouth, Princeton and Penn.

This is the first of two straight home meets for the Bulldogs, who host Harvard and Princeton on Jan. 29-30.
