NEW HAVEN, Conn. The Bulldogs' quest for a fourth straight Ivy League title continues as conference play opens with a home match against Brown on Friday. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. at the John J. Lee Amphitheater.
Yale started this season 7-2 overall and won six of seven entering the Ivy-opener.
Last weekend,
Tiffany Pedersen-Henry and
Carly Diehl were named to the Dog Pound Challenge All-Tournament team. Yale went 2-1 at the Challenge hosted by UConn.
Pedersen-Henry and
Mila Yarich both had 13 kills, while Diehl had 43 assists, 12 digs and five kills in a 3-1 loss to UConn last Saturday. The Bulldogs defeated NJIT and Bryant to open the tournament.

SCOUTING BROWN
The Bears have started the season 7-3 and won all three matches at the Hartford Invitational last weekend. Junior outside hitter Sophia Miller averaged 4.25 kills last weekend and hit .322. She was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday for her efforts. During non-conference play, Brown leads the Ivy League in team hitting percentage (.252) and blocks per set (2.34). Zoe Ubamadu leads the conference with 1.28 blocks per set average. Yale and Brown will meet again in Providence on Friday, October 22.
