NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale field hockey team enters its busiest stretch of the season Wednesday, playing three games in five days -- including two at home. First, the Bulldogs host Sacred Heart Wednesday (7:00 p.m.,
ESPN+). They then travel to Penn for an Ivy League game Saturday (12:00 p.m.,
ESPN+) before wrapping up with a home game vs. Hofstra Sunday (2:00 p.m.,
ESPN+).
Â
LAST GAME
Yale (5-7, 2-2 Ivy League) evened its Ivy League record at 2-2 with a
dramatic win at Columbia last Friday, scoring twice in the fourth quarter to beat the Lions 4-2. Both goals came from first years, as forward
Lily Ramsey (Summit, N.J.) scored to break a 2-2 tie with 6:40 to play and forward
Ellie Barlow (Dunmow, Essex, England) added an insurance goal with 44 seconds left.
Â
HOME STRETCH
After playing only one home game between Sept. 27 and Oct. 19, Yale ends the season by playing four of the final five regular season games at home. The Bulldogs are 16-10 (.615) at Johnson Field since Nov. 4, 2017.
Â
CAPTAIN DAVIES
Senior midfielder
Imogen Davies (Kilmacolm, Scotland), Yale's captain, has moved into seventh place on Yale's career assists list with 24. She needs one assist to tie

SCOUTING HOFSTRA
Hofstra (7-9, 1-4 CAA) has won two in a row after enduring a five-game losing streak. The Pride offense is led by midfielder/forward Eline Oldeman (7-2-16), a freshman from the Netherlands who has four goals in the last six games.
