Vanstone Scores Second of Weekend in 5-1 Loss

Bulldogs Get Harvard in ECAC Quarterfinals

Box Score PRINCETON, N.J. – The Bulldogs were not playing for much other than pride today against No. 6 Princeton, and the home team had the ice titled its way in a 5-1 ECAC Hockey decision at Baker Rink on senior day.
 
The Yale Women's Hockey Team also found out it is heading to Boston to face Harvard in a best-of-three series next weekend in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Tournament.
 
Rebecca Vanstone scored her 12th goal in just her 19th game of the season for Yale (16-13, 13-9 ECAC), which finished fifth in the standings and now gets the fourth-seeded Crimson.
 
Yale finished the regular season with a school-record 16 wins, including a program-best 13 conference victories. They skate against Harvard in game one on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The second game is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, while Sunday's start time, if needed, is 2 p.m.
