BULLDOGS
Yale, sitting in fifth place with a 4-4-0 mark in ECAC play, is coming off a pair of losses at No. 2 Minnesota last weekend. The Bulldogs hung in with the Gophers both games, falling 6-3 and 4-1.
Claire Dalton had two goals and three points while
Charlotte Welch and
Elle Hartje also hit the net. The Elis used both goalies at Minneapolis:
Tera Hofmann had 21 saves in game one, while
Gianna Meloni stopped 35 shots in the finale.
CLARKSON
The Knights (14-2-4) are once again among the nationally ranked teams having a fine year and are currently on a five-game unbeaten streak. That string includes wins over Penn State and Minnesota State. Clarkson's Elizabeth Giguere (21-14-35) leads the nation with better than a goal per game, while Marie Pier Coulombe is top four in goals against and save percentage.
SLU
The Saints (7-7-5), who play at Brown on Friday night, are coming off 3-0 wins over RPI and Syracuse and are on a three-game unbeaten string. SLU already has a double-digit goal scorer in Kayla Vespa, who has 11 and 22 points in 19 games. The Saints have used three goalies with a pair of rookies, Lucy Morgan and Caitlin Whitehead, showing the most promise.
