NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale men's swimming and diving team competes Thursday against Southern Connecticut, the final meet of the team's fall semester of competition.
 
Yale is coming off a strong third-place finish at the Ohio State Invitationals, beating out Virginia Tech and Kentucky for that placement. This was a sign of improvement as the Elis had placed fifth the year before at the event.
 
When these two teams met last year, the Bulldogs came away with a crucial momentum-building victory over the Owls that carried them through the break period.
 
The swimming events are Thursday starting at 4 p.m. at the Kiphuth Exhibition Pool. The diving is Friday at 3 p.m.
