CAMBRIDGE, Mass.— The No. 5 Yale women's squash team struggled in their semifinal match of the College Women's Team Nationals. The Bulldogs went up against No.1 ranked Harvard and fell with a final score of 9-0.
Despite their loss, the Bulldogs still have the opportunity to achieve their goal of placing in the country's top three teams.
If Yale can recover from their loss and rely on their depth, they will be able to rise and meet No. 2 Princeton. The Tigers may be rattled after a loss to No. 3 Trinity on Saturday, leaving opportunity for Yale to avenge their 8-1 loss against Princeton in the regular season.
Yale will compete against Princeton in the match for the No. 3 place starting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Live stream video and updated scores from the Championships can be found here.
